Gen1 Architectural Group was proud to be a part of the renovation of an aging structure in Holland, Michigan, giving birth to Brew Merchant, a new concept where beer lovers will be able to enjoy lesser-known and higher quality brews that are not readily available together in one place. As the craft beer industry continues to grow by leaps and bounds in West Michigan and throughout the nation, Brew Merchant has created a warm, welcoming space for beer connoisseurs can gather.

Rehabilitating what were two older, aging structures in Holland's Washington Square area, Gen1's design has uncovered and transformed the building's interior and exterior, bringing the building's magnificent original features back to life, as well as adding beautiful new features to bring the space into the 21st century.

Gen1 worked with Brew Merchant to bring the interiors of two adjacent buildings together via a walkway in tthe middle of the two building's main spaces, allowing guests and Brew Merchant staff to move from one space to the other, giving Brew Merchant and its guest multiple options for entertaining groups large and small.
